Former Minister of State, Chaudhry Hamid Hameed, has paid rich tribute to Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal General Asim Munir for their role in achieving a ceasefire.
He expressed these views while addressing Pakistan Muslim League (N) leaders and respected citizens at the Public Secretariat. Chaudhry Hamid Hameed appreciated the diplomatic efforts made by Shehbaz Sharif and General Asim Munir for the ceasefire, stating that both leaders demonstrated wise leadership and brought honor to Pakistan at the international level.
He further said that playing an effective role in establishing peace under the current circumstances is a major achievement, and the Prime Minister’s diplomatic strategy is commendable. He added that Pakistan has always desired peace, stability, and brotherhood in the region, and the government has taken positive steps to promote this policy.
Chaudhry Hamid Hameed said that highlighting Pakistan’s positive image globally is a welcome development, and such efforts should continue in the future to ensure lasting peace in the region. He expressed hope that the government will continue to play its role in resolving global issues through effective diplomacy.
