In view of the rainfall forecast issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali summoned the Managing Director of WASA and the Executive Engineer (XEN) Highways to his office to review preparedness measures.
The Commissioner directed the officials to ensure that all arrangements for drainage remain fully operational during the expected rains. He instructed that staff and machinery be deployed and kept on high alert at all vulnerable locations to prevent inconvenience to the public.
He also emphasized the need to closely monitor road conditions, maintain smooth traffic flow, and continue ongoing city beautification projects without disruption.
Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali made it clear that no negligence would be tolerated during the rainy spell and instructed all concerned departments to remain active in the field to provide immediate relief and assistance to citizens.
