District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha, Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem, visited Kot Momin Police Station, Mela Police Station, Midh Ranjha Police Station, and the Police Khidmat Centre Kot Momin to review policing standards and public service delivery.
During the visit, the DPO conducted a detailed inspection of the police stations, examining the cleanliness of the buildings, front desks, lock-ups, malkhanas (property rooms), and other administrative arrangements. He also checked the record of detainees in the lock-ups and reviewed the progress made on complaints registered by citizens at the front desks.
At the Police Khidmat Centre, the DPO met with visiting citizens and assessed the quality of the services being provided. On the occasion, Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem issued strict instructions to the SHOs and station clerks, directing them to ensure prompt and fair redressal of public complaints. He emphasized that negligence or injustice would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The DPO further instructed officers to strengthen the police patrolling system to ensure effective action against criminal elements and to provide better protection for the lives and property of citizens.
