Like the rest of the country, Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir (Kashmir Exploitation Day) was observed in Noorpur Thal with great national spirit and enthusiasm.
In this connection, the Assistant Commissioner’s Office Noorpur Thal organized a dignified ceremony followed by a solidarity rally. On the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Shazia Rahman hoisted the national flag, while participants observed a one-minute silence to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Later, a rally led by Assistant Commissioner Shazia Rahman was taken out to reaffirm support for the Kashmiri people. Among those who participated were Deputy DEO Zaheer Abbas Bhatti, Rescue 1122 Officer Malik Hafiz Ismatullah Burana, Senior Headmaster Malik Imtiaz Hussain Burana, Tehsildar Noorpur Thal Muhammad Rizwan, Chief Officer Hafiz Muhammad Nauman, Agriculture Officer Rana Muhammad Rizwan, Social Welfare Officer Rana Muhammad Owais, President Noorpur Thal Press Club Seth Samar Sultan, Tehsil Monitoring Officer Suthra Punjab Ansar Abbas, Operational Manager Sanwal Khan, In-charge Sanitary Workers Aqeel Abbas Khan Baloch, THQ Hospital Admin Officer Hafiz Malik Ansar Hayat, Farhat Abbas Khan Pathan, teachers, and students from various educational institutions.
The rally participants carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri people and demanding their right to freedom.
