
Waqar Azeem Kharal, District Police Officer (DPO) Mianwali, paid a visit to the Police Service Center at Police Lines and the Traffic Licensing Branch to review service delivery and operational standards.
During the visit, the DPO inspected the facilities being provided at the Police Service Center, including the registration of applications, issuance of character certificates, learner and driving licenses, and other related services. He met with citizens, inquired about their concerns, and directed the officers present to ensure the timely, transparent, and dignified provision of services to the public.
At the Traffic Licensing Branch, the DPO examined the driving test procedures, biometric system, record-keeping process, and security arrangements. He instructed the staff to strictly uphold merit, transparency, and full compliance with the law in order to further strengthen public trust in the police department.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Waqar Azeem Kharal stated that Police Service Centers have been established to provide modern and quality services to citizens under one roof. Therefore, no negligence in service delivery standards will be tolerated. He emphasized that officers and officials must adopt professionalism, patience, and courteous behavior as their hallmark.
In conclusion, the DPO issued further directives to the concerned officers to utilize all available resources to enhance service standards and to keep an effective monitoring system active for the prompt redressal of public complaints.
