Under the open-door policy of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Labar listened to the problems of citizens and issued directives to the concerned departments for their immediate resolution. A number of applicants and complainants were present on the occasion and presented their issues.
Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laar stated that the doors of the DC Office are always open to the public, and citizens should come forward without hesitation to share their concerns. He emphasized that resolving public issues on a priority basis is the foremost responsibility of the district administration.
He directed the Assistant Commissioner Khushab and officers of all relevant departments to ensure that no obstacles are tolerated in addressing citizens’ problems. He added that public complaints are heard on a daily basis and prompt actions are taken for their resolution.
The Deputy Commissioner further instructed that compliance reports on applications submitted by citizens must be presented regularly. He made it clear that resolving public issues is the top priority and that negligence, delay, or inefficiency in any department will not be tolerated. All departments must perform their duties with a strong sense of public service.
