A delegation of the Executive Members of the Pakistan Media Writers Club paid a study visit to Bahria University Lahore Campus, Johar Town. The delegation was led by the Club’s Chairman, Iftikhar Khan, and included senior journalist Fazal Hussain Awan, Aqeel Anjum Awan, Syed Badr Saeed, Muhammad Shoaib Mirza, Syed Asad Nadeem, Dr. Faseelat Bano, Salman Hameed Khokhar, Shahzad Chaudhry, Nabeela Akbar, Asim Latif Chaudhry, Fazal Abbas, Rafiq Mughal, Muhammad Usman, and Hamid Ali.

The delegation was warmly received by the Director of Bahria University Lahore Campus, Commodore (R) Imran Iftikhar, along with faculty members Dr. Usman Rashid Chaudhry, Dr. Unsar Siddique, Dr. Khawar Bilal Baig, Dr. Muhammad Sajid, and Shafqat Ali Niazi.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by an introduction of the Pakistan Media Writers Club delegation. A comprehensive media briefing was then presented regarding the university’s academic and administrative operations.
Addressing the participants, Director Lahore Campus Commodore (R) Imran Iftikhar highlighted the vision, objectives, and educational standards of the university. An interactive question-and-answer session and a constructive exchange of views took place between the media representatives and faculty members.

The delegation appreciated the university’s academic achievements and administrative performance and offered valuable suggestions for further improvement. The university administration also hosted an elaborate brunch in honor of the visiting guests.
At the conclusion of the event, Bahria University presented awards to the members of the Pakistan Media Writers Club in recognition of their outstanding contributions to journalism, literature, and social services. The participants emphasized the importance of strengthening positive relations between academic institutions and the media for the promotion of education, awareness, and national development.
