Deputy Commissioner Khushab, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber, paid an inspection visit to DHQ Hospital Joharabad to review the availability of medicines and healthcare services for patients.
During the visit, Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr. Ammar Haider, duty doctors, and nursing staff were present. Dr. Ammar Haider and the duty doctors gave the Deputy Commissioner a detailed briefing on the medicines being provided to patients and the medical facilities available at the hospital.
The Deputy Commissioner also toured various departments of the hospital and reviewed the quality of healthcare services as well as the availability of medicines for patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber said that the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of providing free medicines would be implemented in letter and spirit. He emphasized that ensuring timely, high-quality healthcare and medical treatment for patients visiting government hospitals remains the Punjab Government’s top priority.
