Pakistan’s national Mixed Martial Arts team has departed for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to participate in the Asian GAMMA MMA Championship 2026, where Pakistani athletes will compete in the Youth and Senior categories.

Pakistan’s participation in the prestigious international championship comes at a time when the country’s MMA athletes have demonstrated impressive performances at both national and international levels. With a strong track record, continuous hard work and extensive preparation, high hopes are attached to the Pakistani team at this important championship.

Speaking on the occasion, President of the Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation, Zulfiqar Ali, said that the Pakistani team had prepared extensively for the championship and that he had full confidence in the abilities and potential of the athletes.

“Our athletes have represented Pakistan with distinction at the international level over the past few years. The Asian GAMMA MMA Championship 2026 is an important opportunity for our athletes to demonstrate their skills and potential on the international stage. We are hopeful that they will display the highest standards of sportsmanship, discipline and determination and achieve success for Pakistan.”

Zulfiqar Ali further stated that the Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation would continue its efforts to provide young athletes with opportunities to compete at the international level and to promote the development of MMA in Pakistan.
