Punjab Minister for Specialized Healthcare, Khawaja Salman Rafique, paid a one-day visit to Joharabad, where he met Kashmiri community elders and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) workers at the PML-N House.
The meeting was attended by PML-N Khushab District President and former Senator Dr. Ghaus Muhammad Khan Niazi, MPA Malik Muhammad Asif Bhaha, MPA Sardar Zafar Abbas Khan Baloch, former MPA and PML-N District General Secretary Malik Karam Elahi Bandial, along with Kashmiri elders, party office-bearers, and workers.
Addressing the gathering, Khawaja Salman Rafique announced that all bus stops serving the Kashmiri colonies on Muzaffargarh Road would be restored. He said he had already discussed the matter with the Provincial Transport Minister. He further stated that, in addition to restoring the bus stops, Khushab would also receive its share of the 500 new buses that are being added to the provincial transport fleet.
The minister also assured participants that other development issues raised by the Kashmiri community during the meeting would be conveyed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for appropriate action.
Former MPA Barrister Malik Muazzam Sher was represented at the meeting by senior PML-N leader Malik Shahbaz Burhan on behalf of the Kalo Group.
