Polling for the second phase of AJK Legislative Assembly elections will be held in Muzaffarabad Division tomorrow.
Along with the general constituencies of Muzaffarabad Division, polling will also be held for twelve refugee seats.
Refugees from Jammu & Kashmir have called for the retention of twelve reserved refugee seats stating that these are essential to safeguarding their identity, culture and representation.
Jammu & Kashmir refugees residing in AJK said their identity, representation and commitment to Pakistan are non-negotiable.
They paid tribute to the government and people of Pakistan for their continued support and solidarity.
The refugees said that the people of Pakistan have stood shoulder to shoulder with the Kashmiris through every difficult time and will continue to do so. On the basis of this continued commitment, government of Pakistan has reserved twelve seats to maintain the representation of refugees from Jammu and Kashmir.
