In compliance with the directives of the Inspector General of Police, Punjab, a special meeting of senior police officers, ASP (Under Training), SDPOs, SHOs, and officers and personnel assigned to judicial duties was held at Police Lines, Jauharabad, under the chairmanship of DPO Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi.
During the meeting, directives were issued for strict implementation of the Punjab Chief Minister’s vision of a corruption-free Punjab, a zero-tolerance policy against corruption within the police department, 100 percent compliance with SOPs for judicial duties, foolproof security for undertrial prisoners receiving medical treatment, and effective supervision of personnel deployed on duty.
The movement of prison vans is also being directly monitored through CCTV cameras to ensure transparency and security.
DPO Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi made it clear that indiscriminate accountability would continue against police personnel found guilty of negligence, dereliction of duty, or corruption.
