Shahzeb Khan of Pakistan won the bronze medal in the Asian Taekwondo Championship in Korea. In the 54th category on the first day of the championship, Shahzeb of Pakistan defeated the Thai player in the quarter finals and qualified for the semi finals. In the semi-finals, Pakistan’s Shahzeb lost 2-0 to Jordan.

The Jordanian player won the first round by 20 points to 17 and qualified for the final by winning the second round by 17 points to 7.

It should be noted that Pakistan’s ten-member team is participating in the Asian Taekwondo Championship

Earlier, during the WT Asia General Assembly, the President of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation Col (retd) Waseem Janjua and Omar Saeed gave a presentation and got approval to hold the 4th Combex Asian Open 2022 and 5th Asian Open 2023 in Islamabad this year.
