The National Curriculum Council has decided to constitute sub-committees for better inter-provincial coordination on matters focusing on quality textbooks, teachers, and assessment reforms.

The decision was made at a meeting of the Council held in Islamabad on Thursday with Minister for Federal Education Rana Tanveer Hussain in the chair.                           

The meeting discussed the recent agreement of provincial experts on National Curriculum standards for Grades 9-12 signed by subject experts from all provinces.

The Council decided to share the signed agreement with the provinces for their review and approval as per the respective provincial laws and legal procedures.                                     

On the occasion, Rana Tanveer Hussain lauded the National Curriculum Council for championing international standards in curriculum reforms.
