Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says the verdict in Toshakhana case has proved the PTI Chief’s dishonesty beyond doubts.

Addressing media in Islamabad on Saturday, she said the detailed verdict has proved that the PTI Chairman committed offence of corrupt practices by making and publishing false statements.

Marriyum Aurangzeb recalled that   PTI Chief, during his tenure as the prime minister  used NAB, FIA and other forums against his opponents without following the legal proceedings. She said our party leaders presented themselves to courts to prove their innocence in all fake cases while the PTI Chairman built a  narrative against state when his corruption exposed.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said other cases against the PTI Chairman including Al Qadir Trust,  Foreign Funding, Cipher  are in courts and he will be charged in all of these cases as there are sufficient evidence against him.

Regarding today’s Council of Common Interest meeting, she said no final decision has been taken on any of agenda items as the discussions were delayed due to Chief Minister Baluchistan’s late arrival.
