Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has described the war in the Gaza as beyond a catastrophe.

In an interview with an Egyptian TV channel, he said the territory has become unrecognizable and warned that the occupied West Bank could implode at any time.

He also called the war as unprecedented in the history of the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, at least 241 Palestinians were martyred in the past 24 hours in occupied Palestinian territory as Israel’s military continues its strikes.

In the occupied West Bank, Palestinian medical sources say that six Palestinians were martyred in an overnight Israeli drone strike in the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem.

Health Ministry in Gaza said that 382 people were also injured in the Israeli attacks.
