In India, the process of demolishing mosques and converting them into the temples is gaining momentum especially after the grand inauguration of Ram temple in Ayodhya by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Recently, an Indian court ruled that Hindus can worship inside a Gyanvapi mosque located in Uttar Pardesh has not only increased religious tensions in the country but it will further add the miseries and fear of muslim community in their own country.

On 1st of this month six hundred years old Akhonji Masjid situated in Delhi including graves in the mosque compound were bulldozed by government authorities.

Top Muslim leaders urged Indian government to protect their places of worship and put an end to such disputes to save the secular fabric of country.
