Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has underlined need of improving higher education across the province.
Chairing a meeting in Lahore on Thursday, she emphasized at upgrading the quality of education in Punjab’s universities and colleges.
The meeting was informed that several foreign universities from the UK, Korea and Kazakhstan have expressed interest in opening campuses in Punjab.
The meeting also decided to form College Management Councils in government colleges.
