Later speaking on the occasion, he commended PTV’s role in uplifting the nation’s morale during the Marka-e-Haq. He said this Independence Day not only celebrates freedom but also commemorates Pakistan’s triumph in the Marka-e-Haq. He said the military victory has sent a powerful message that the people and armed forces of Pakistan remain resolute in defending their independence.
Attaullah Tarar further emphasized that Pakistan has successfully won the narrative and information warfare on the ideological front.
The ceremony was attended by Secretary Information and Managing Director Ambreen Jan, Director General of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Saeed Ahmed Shaikh, as well as officers from the Ministry of Information, Radio Pakistan, and the Pakistan Television Corporation.
