Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja today inaugurated projects worth four billion rupees for Sanghar and Badin districts of Sindh.
Addressing a ceremony at Governor House in Karachi today, she said these projects will be carried out with support Universal Service Fund and Jazz.
Shaza Fatima said that over one point eight million people of the districts will benefit from these projects.
She said fiber lines will be laid on over four hundred kilometers in Sanghar and Badin districts.
The IT Minister expressed the government’s commitment to facilitate each and every nook and corner of the country with internet facilities.
