Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali formally inaugurated a modern Ultrasound and CT Scan Department established at a cost of Rs. 100 million at Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital (DHQ).
The project was completed in record time under the personal supervision and continuous follow-up of the Commissioner. The old dilapidated building was demolished and replaced with a newly constructed, spacious facility equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic machinery to ensure quality healthcare services for patients.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner stated that improvement in the healthcare sector is among the top priorities of the government. He emphasized that the provision of modern medical facilities will benefit not only the residents of Sargodha but also patients from adjoining districts. He directed the concerned officials to ensure timely maintenance and proper servicing of the equipment so that uninterrupted services remain available to the public.
With the establishment of this new department, patients will now have access to timely and quality diagnostic facilities at the local level, eliminating the need to travel to larger cities and expediting the treatment process.
