Iran launches retaliatory attacks against Israel, US bases

The United States and Israel have launched attack against Iran.

 According to the Iranian media, strikes have been reported in the cities of Isfahan, Qom, Lorestan, Karaj, Kermanshah and Tabriz as well as the capital Tehran.

A US official has said that the US strikes are currently focused on military targets.

However, at least fifty seven students were martyred and sixty others injured in an Israeli air strike targeting a girl’s school in  Minab, Hormozgan Province.

According to the Governor of Minab, fifty three students are still under the rubble and rescue operations are underway.

In a post on social media platform X, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran will teach the aggressors a lesson they deserve.

The Foreign Minister also held a telephonic conversation with his counterparts from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iraq, following the US-Israeli attacks on the country.

Meanwhile, at least eight states including Iran, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates declared their airspace closed following the conflict.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says it has struck several US military bases in the region, including the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.

According to Iranian official state-run news agency IRNA, Iran targeted the American bases in Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Palestine.
