Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain says the government will ensure a stable fertilizer supply despite regional challenges.
He was chairing a high-level meeting of the Fertilizer Review Committee in Islamabad today.
Rana Tanveer Hussain said agricultural productivity and food security will remain protected despite external challenges.
He stressed the need for close coordination among manufacturers, distributors and provincial authorities to maintain uninterrupted supply chains across the country.
The meeting also emphasized monitoring fertilizer prices at local and provincial levels to prevent artificial shortages and hoarding, ensuring fertilizers remain accessible and affordable for farmers.
