Soon Valley: Dream of a Cricket Stadium Moves Closer to Reality

The tireless efforts of Malik Mansoor Usman Awan have begun to bear fruit as the dream of the youth of Soon Valley to have a cricket stadium is moving closer to reality.

A high-level technical team from the Pakistan Cricket Board completed the second survey of the proposed cricket stadium site at Kafri Siddiqabad in Soon Valley. Director Muhammad Hashim and Project Manager Farhat Gondal from Lahore, along with their team, conducted a detailed inspection of the site to prepare the feasibility report.

Earlier, an important meeting was also held under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Nowshera, Samina Bashir, with the revenue staff where detailed discussions were held regarding the proposed stadium project.

Later, the PCB team conducted a field visit in the presence of Assistant Commissioner Samina Bashir, local think tank members Malik Usman-ul-Haq Awan, Zafar Iqbal Awan, and other revenue officials. The Pakistan Cricket Board team appreciated the location of Kafri Siddiqabad and termed it highly suitable for the construction of a cricket stadium. They assured that the feasibility report would be completed as soon as possible.

On this occasion, Malik Usman-ul-Haq Awan said that, God willing, this project will become a new symbol of development in Soon Valley and will give the region a strong identity in the world of sports.
