Renowned philosopher, author, and President of the Pakistan Philosophical Association, Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal Nadeem, has arrived in Canada on a goodwill visit along with his family, where he received a warm and enthusiastic welcome.
Dr. Nadeem reached Regina with his wife, Shahida Parveen. They were warmly welcomed by Muhammad Aamir, Muhammad Waqas, Sehrish Javed, Imtinan Javed, Shanzay Imtinan, Rehan, Hania, Hana, and representatives of a prominent company in Regina.
During his stay in Canada, Dr. Javed Iqbal Nadeem has been invited by friends, former students, and several organisations to deliver lectures on philosophy and the Thought of Allama Iqbal. He will also preside over and address a number of important meetings of the Pakistan Philosophical Association at various institutions.
Among his scheduled engagements are scholarly lectures at the Toronto Grand Library and near Niagara Falls, where he will highlight significant aspects of Allama Iqbal’s philosophical thought and intellectual legacy.
Professor Dr Javed Iqbal Nadeem is the author of numerous books. His latest intellectual work, “Gohar-e-Farda” (The Jewel of Tomorrow), was recently published and formally launched in Pakistan, where it received widespread appreciation. The book has also been the subject of several introductory columns and critical essays written by prominent scholars and intellectuals.
