Pakistan Women’s Netball Team Arrives in Hong Kong for Asian Championship Plate Division
The Pakistan Women’s Netball Team has arrived in Hong Kong to take part in the Asian Championship’s Plate Division. The Plate Division event features teams from Japan, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, and South Korea, while the Cup Division includes Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Maldives, and Sri Lanka.
The Pakistan Sports Board has issued the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the team’s participation. Pakistan will play its first match against Japan tomorrow at 9:00 am Pakistan Standard Time, followed by its second match against Thailand on August 10.
The Pakistan netball team is being led by captain Noor-ul-Ain Hussain. The team is sponsored by JS Bank, with support from VLead.
Pakistan Netball Federation Chairman Zafar Iqbal Awan and President Malik Samin Khan have extended their best wishes to the team, urging the players to give their best effort on the field.
The Pakistan team also held a training session today, where coach Haroona Zaman briefed the players on technical points ahead of tomorrow’s match.
