The Plate Division of the Asian Netball Championship 2026 is currently underway in Hong Kong, where the Pakistan Women’s Netball Team got off to a brilliant start by defeating Japan 58-34.
Pakistan displayed excellent teamwork, discipline, and determination throughout the match, securing the tournament’s opening victory and picking up their first points of the competition.
Pakistan Netball Federation Chairman Zafar Iqbal Awan, President Malik Amin Khan, and Secretary Muhammad Riaz congratulated the players, coaching staff, and officials on the win, and wished the team continued success in its remaining matches.
The Federation also thanked the team’s official sponsors, JS Bank and VLEAD Inc., for their support in promoting netball in Pakistan.
The final score of the match was Pakistan 58 – Japan 34.
Pakistan will play their next match against Thailand on Monday, August 10.
