Students from government educational institutions in District Layyah delivered an outstanding performance in the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Matric Annual Examination 2026 by securing three prominent positions. The remarkable achievement has been widely appreciated by public, social, and educational circles across Sargodha Division, who congratulated Chief Executive Officer of the District Education Authority Layyah, Dr. Muhammad Qayyum Khan, and District Education Officer (Secondary), Muhammad Hussain, on this exceptional success.

According to the officially announced results, Syed Muhammad Joon Abbas Naqvi, a student of Government Model Higher Secondary School, Layyah, secured 1,189 marks and achieved the third overall position in the board examination. Similarly, Meerab Zahra, a student of Government Girls High School, Railway Station Karor, also obtained 1,189 marks and shared the third overall position. Meanwhile, Imama Abbas, a student of Government Girls High School, Kot Sultan, secured 1,187 marks and earned the third position among female candidates.
