In the first match of the ongoing two-Test series between West Indies and Bangladesh, the host West Indies defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets to take a one nil lead in the series.
Bangladesh, who were bowled out for 245 in their second innings, gave West Indies a 84-run target to win, which they won by seven wickets at a loss of just three wickets.
For West Indies, John Campbell played an unbeaten innings of 58 while Jermaine Blackwood remained unbeaten on 26. Craig Braithwaite scored one, Roy Moon two and Nikroma Bonner returned to the pavilion without scoring. Khalid Mahmood took three wickets
