Russia has expressed regret over suspension of its membership in the UN Human Rights Council for its invasion of Ukraine saying that Moscow will continue to defend its interests using every possible legal means.
In a statement, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said we have significant losses of troops. And it is a huge tragedy for us.
Earlier, the UN General Assembly had suspended Russia’s membership of the Human Rights Council over alleged gross and systematic violations and abuses of human rights.
