In Philippines, over 2.29 million people have been affected by tropical storm Megi.
According to the Philippine National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, a total of 214 people died, 132 are reported missing, while more than 69,700 displaced people are still staying at 200 evacuation centers. An emergency situation was declared in 61 cities and municipalities.
