Minister of State for Poverty Alleviation, Faisal Karim Khan Kundi says the disbursement of payments to the beneficiaries of Benazir Income Support Programme has been started.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said we have disbursed 55 billion rupees for the BISP beneficiaries till now while thirteen billion rupees have been distributed under BISP Waseela e Taleem program.

The Minister said preparations for the next BISP Dynamic Survey has been completed and soon Co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari will inaugurate it.

Faisal Kundi said under the survey, maximum eligible people will be provided BISP cards. He further said we will reanalyze the data of all those people, who were excluded from BISP by the PTI government.

The Minister praised the efforts of Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his team for achieving the support of international community for flood victims at International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan.

He categorically said there is no threat of default after this kind of huge international support.
