In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops have arrested more than 50 innocent youth in the name of questioning in Rajouri district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the arrests were made during the violent cordon and search operations jointly conducted by Indian army, police and Central Reserve Police Force in over two dozen villages in Rajouri district.

Teams of the Special Operations Group of Indian police have been deployed at designated locations.

Indian authorities have intensified restrictions in the name of security across the territory, particularly in Jammu region, weeks ahead of Indian Republic Day official celebrations.

The personnel of Indian army, Border Security Force and police have been deployed in Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Kathua, Samba and Kishtwar districts.

Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the world over observe the Indian Republic Day on 26th of this month as Black Day, every year.

Meanwhile, protests were held in Srinagar against growing scarcity of water, power shortage, inflation and unemployment in the territory.
