Minister for Religious Affairs Senator Muhammad Talha Mehmood has directed the staff of his Ministry and the respective Haji Camps to be diligent in guiding and serving the Hajj pilgrims.

He was chairing different meetings at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Islamabad on Thursday to review various issues related to the progress of public and private Hajj schemes.

The Minister held separate meetings with the officials of HOPE, the representative body of the private Hajj scheme, and the officials of the airlines.

Senator Talha Mahmood directed to arrange comprehensive training programs for the complete awareness of the Hajj training and administrative affairs of the pilgrims.

On the occasion, the representatives of the Hope requested the Minister of Religious Affairs to ease the difficulties regarding bank guarantee under sponsorship Hajj scheme.

In his meeting with the representatives of airlines, Senator Muhammad Talha Mehmood directed them to ensure the provision of best air travel facilities for Hujjaj.

The Minister further said all stakeholders of Hajj are expected to show their best performance and capabilities during Hajj operation.
