All rivers are flowing in normal and low conditions, except River Sutlej.

According to details, inflows from Indian side have reduced, resulting in a gradual decrease at Ganda Singh Wala. However, a rise is being seen at Sulemanki, while Islam headworks is currently stable.

It is further stated that Sulemanki will continue to experience rise over next 36 hours as the flows translate downstream the impact will be visible at Islam Headworks also during next 48 to 72 hours.

At the same time rescue operations in flood hit areas of district Kasur are at full swing to shift the stranded people to safer places.

People trapped in the floodwater at Ganda Singh Wala have been shifted to safer locations.

Personnel of Pakistan Rangers are fully prepared along with their boats to protect people from flood in the River Sutlej.

They are undertaking prompt actions to extend maximum help in saving people’s lives and their belongings.
