North Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles as the country leader Kim Jong Un is to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Amur today.

South Korean and Japanese military officials said the missiles were fired from the Sunan area in Pyongyang into the Sea of Japan.

Kim Jong Un and President Putin are expected to meet shortly to discuss a whole range of issues including ways and means to enhance bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.
