Caretaker Planning Minister Muhammad Sami Saeed has underscored the need to promptly approve pending PC-1 projects related to the rehabilitation of flood victims.

The desire was expressed at the second oversight meeting in Islamabad today on the post flood Resilient, Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Framework (4RF) activities.

Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted government’s commitment to support and facilitate donor agencies throughout the implementation and completion of these important projects.

The meeting addressed several significant aspects of the 4RF projects with the major focus on streamlining project implementation and evaluating the status of approved projects from provinces.

Donor agencies expressed their commitment to continue providing support for these projects in the future.

It is pertinent to mention that second meeting of the Oversight Board is a step towards building post-flood resilience, recovery, rehabilitation, and reconstruction.
