Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has emphasized the need to create synergies, where possible, among the allied departments of Information Ministry.
Chairing a meeting at Pak-China center in Islamabad today regarding the integration of social media accounts of various departments of the Information Ministry, he pointed out that Radio Pakistan, PTV and Associated Press of Pakistan are news disseminating organizations and synergy amongst them is possible in the realm of social media.
The Information Minister underscored the importance of expanding the government’s presence on social media, noting it would effectively showcase Pakistan’s narrative and promote a positive image both domestically and internationally.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Information Zahoor Ahmed, Director General Radio Pakistan Tahir Hassan and other senior officers of the Ministry and its attached departments.
