Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi and Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa retired Justice Syed Arshad Hussain Shah during a telephonic have expressed determination to provide all possible support and facilities to Election Commission to make the election process free, fair and transparent.
They decided to provide all possible facilities to the media during the elections.
Murtaza Solangi said the caretaker government firmly believes in freedom of expression. He said the government is fulfilling its responsibilities under the constitution.
He said equal opportunities are being provided to all political parties.
The Information Minister congratulated Syed Arshad Hussain Shah on assuming the office of Caretaker Chief Minister.
The Caretaker Chief Minister said the problems of journalists of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be addressed on priority basis.
