After 48 days of barbaric bombardment at Gaza strip, Israel released 39 Palestinian prisoners from jails today under a four-day humanitarian truce with Hamas.
Earlier, Hamas had released 24 captives held in Gaza yesterday.
Ten Thais and one Filipino were also released from Gaza and will soon be travelling home.
During the four days of truce, at least 50 captives are expected to be freed, leaving an estimated 190 captives in Gaza.
In exchange, 150 Palestinian prisoners are expected to be released.
