International Court of Justice (ICJ) will begin hearing Gaza genocide allegations case against Israel today.
The petition filed by South Africa will determine whether Israel’s war in Gaza amounts to genocide.
The preliminary hearings today will deal exclusively with South Africa’s call for an immediate suspension of Israel’s military actions in Gaza.
Several countries including Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Nicaragua and Maldives have expressed support for South Africa’s call.
