The Government of Pakistan continues to take significant steps to improve the country’s telecom and IT sectors, aiming to address long-standing challenges in internet connectivity and to promote digital growth across the nation.

In response to recent issues regarding internet disruptions, the Government of Pakistan recently launched the Africa-2 Cable Project. This state-of-the-art initiative is set to improve internet connectivity and enhance data transmission across the country.

The Africa-2 Cable Project is the world’s largest undersea network, spanning a remarkable 45,000 kilometers. The project connects 33 countries and integrates 46 landing stations globally, making it a major milestone for international internet infrastructure.
