
Federal Minister for the Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh on Sunday called for unity and cooperation among political parties, urging the PTI leadership to sit with the Prime Minister to address national challenges through constructive dialogue and to view the events of May 9 as an opportunity for reconciliation instead of resistance.
While talking to PTV, Federal Minister said that the government has taken the first step towards promoting political harmony and national stability.
“Our leadership congratulated the newly elected Chief Minister and extended best wishes for the progress and prosperity of the province,” he added.
The minister noted that it is now the responsibility of the PTI new leadership in KPK to come forward and demonstrate unity and maturity for the greater national interest.
He emphasized that dialogue and cooperation are the only ways to resolve political differences and move the country towards development and prosperity.
Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh added that resistance and propaganda serve no purpose and yield no benefit to the nation.
He urged all political stakeholders to rise above personal interests and work collectively for the stability and progress of Pakistan.
He said that the leadership has always been ready for dialogue and has consistently offered talks in the interest of the common people, adding, genuine engagement and cooperation among all political parties are essential to address public concerns and ensure lasting stability and development in the country.
