Grand Writers’ Conference Organized by Takhleeq Kar International; Ten Books Launched and Literary Awards Presented

A grand Writers’ Conference was organized by Takhleeq Kar International in Lahore, bringing together prominent writers, poets, and intellectuals from across the country.

Speakers described literature as a beautiful garden filled with colorful flowers. They remarked that the pen is a sacred trust, and writers and poets are its custodians. Takhleeq Kar International is an active literary network that has established its reputation at the international level within a short span of time. Arham Roohan, the driving force behind the organization, has worked tirelessly to bring poets and writers from around the world onto one platform and introduce their talents globally.

On the occasion of the organization’s anniversary, a dignified and vibrant Writers’ Conference was arranged to welcome Patron-in-Chief Syeda Munawar Jahan Zaidi on her arrival from the United States. She returned to Pakistan after performing Umrah and was warmly received. As a Sahib-e-Diwan poet, she was specially honored during the ceremony.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a naat. Dr. Muhammad Nawaz Kanwal delivered an introductory address about the conference and welcomed the distinguished guests.
During the first session of the conference, ten books authored by Syeda Munawar Jahan Zaidi, Arham Roohan, Syed Mahmood-ul-Hasan Gilani Advocate, Rubina Shaheen, Dr. Nighat Khursheed, Gulzar Azam, Amina Younis, Mah Jabeen, Farheen, and Professor Arshad Rahi were formally launched. Reviews and analytical remarks on these books were presented by Dr. Muhammad Nawaz Kanwal, Syed Mahmood-ul-Hasan Gilani Advocate, Aram Roohan, Syeda Tayyaba Ruba, Rubina Shaheen, Dr. Nosheen Khalid, Dr. Nighat Khursheed, and Dr. Fazilat Bano.

On this prestigious occasion, Syed Mahmood-ul-Hasan Gilani, Dr. Nawaz Kanwal, Rubina Shaheen, Dr. Nighat Khursheed, Rafi-ud-Din, Zaki Qureshi, Muhammad Shiraz Anjum, Dr. Fazilat Bano, Mah Jabeen, Nazir Qaiser, Muhammad Saba, Mumtaz Bano, Sajid Ali, Ameer Gul, Sanober Wafa, Tabassum, Maqsood Chughtai, and Dr. Poonam Noreen were presented with Takhleeq Kar International Awards.
Furthermore, under the first anthology project titled “Takhleeq Aik Aizaz Hai” (Creation is an Honor), anthology awards were presented to Faizan Hashmi, Syed Gulzar, Asim Sahar, Naseem Sahar, Saira, Tishna Amina, Younis, Rashida Dastgir, Nazish, and Farheen Chaudhry.

The second session of the conference featured a mushaira titled “Diwan-e-Khas,” presided over by Syed Mahmood-ul-Hasan Gilani Advocate, Chairman of Bazm-e-Sarkhail Adab. All participating poets presented their beautiful poetry and received great appreciation from the audience.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Syeda Munawar Jahan Zaidi and Jazz Zaidi were presented with bouquets, books, commemorative shields, and traditional shawls as gifts. Aram Roohan performed the duties of host, while Dr. Muhammad Nawaz Kanwal delivered the concluding presidential remarks and congratulated Arham Roohan for successfully organizing the event.

He stated that by presenting awards, shields, gold medals, and certificates of excellence to the creative contributors, Arham Roohan has initiated a new and promising chapter in the literary field.
