The International Union of Writers organized a prestigious reception to honor Supreme Council Member Rehana Usmani on the publication of her book “Baqa-e-Zeest”, as well as the release of the union writers’ first collective book “Adhooray Lams Ki Sargoshiyan”. The ceremony also celebrated Central President Samina Tahir Butt for her renowned drama “Dam-e-Mohabbat” and congratulated Rabia Azmat on winning the Lahore Press Club elections.
A large number of office-bearers and members attended the event and extended heartfelt congratulations to the honorees.
On the successful organization of the drama writing workshop, members congratulated Samina Tahir Butt, Hina Yasmeen, Zohaib Ramzan Bhatti, Sajida Chaudhry, Saba Rana, and Sidra Iqbal for their commendable efforts.
The event was hosted by Arfeen Ayesha and General Secretary Tahir Durrani. The recitation of the Holy Quran was performed by Hafiz Zubair Ahmed, while Anjum Shehzad presented a beautiful Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
