In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, seven police personnel were martyred and several others injured in an IED attack by Fitna-al-Khwarij in Bettani area of Lakki Marwat.
All the police personnel martyred and injured in the blast belong to Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The martyrs of the incident include SHO Police Station Shadi Khel Inspector Sadar Azam, Constable Shah Bahram, Constable Shah Khalid, Constable Haji Muhammad, Constable Gulzada, Constable Sakhi Zada and Constable Namdar.
According to security sources, the brave men of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police were targeted while they were performing their duties.
The sources said that by targeting local Pakhtuns, Fitna-al-Khwarij has once again proven that it has no connection with the religion of Islam and it is an enemy of humanity.
The terrorist attack in Lakki Marwat highlights the importance and justification of the Pakistan Army’s ongoing Operation Ghazab lil-Haq in Afghanistan.
Security sources further said that under the Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, the hideouts and facilitator networks of Fitna-al-Khwarij are being effectively targeted.
