President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In their separate message on Eid-ul-Fitr, they said this is a day to promote mutual love, brotherhood and social harmony. It reminds us to share our happiness with the needy, orphans and underprivileged sections of society and to strengthen the sense of responsibility in the society.
In his message, the President emphasized the need for renewing commitment to national unity, supremacy of Constitution and adherence to the law.
He said the development, stability and prosperity of Pakistan are the shared responsibility of all of us.
In his message, the Prime Minister said Eid-ul-Fitr renews the values of sacrifice, unity, service to humanity and a sense of collective responsibility.
He mentioned that during the holy month of Ramazan, the government successfully implemented a digital wallet system to provide financial assistance to the underprivileged in a dignified manner.
Shehbaz Sharif said our hearts remain heavy for the people of Gaza and other regions in the Middle East affected by conflict.
He said Pakistan, as a nation, prays for peace, security and stability worldwide.
