A “Monthly Crime Meeting” was held under the chairpersonship of District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab, Dr. Ammara Shirazi. The meeting was attended by all SDPOs of the district, DSP Legal, SHOs, and Heads of various branches.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted regarding crime control, recovery in property-related cases, and the conviction rate. The DPO directed that the crackdown against organized and active gangs, proclaimed offenders, and drug dealers should be intensified.
She further emphasized that timely registration of FIRs and merit-based investigations must be ensured at all costs. Dr. Ammara Shirazi also instructed that cases under investigation should be finalized on merit and challans must be submitted to the courts within the stipulated time.
She added that addressing public complaints effectively at the police station level should be the top priority and must be ensured. The DPO directed SHOs to treat every citizen visiting the police station with courtesy and to resolve their issues promptly.
