Review Meeting on CM Initiatives Held in Mianwali, Emphasis on Improving Civic Facilities

A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mianwali, Asad Abbas Magassi, to ensure the effective implementation of Chief Minister’s initiatives. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Shahid, ADCG Majid Bin Ahmad, CEO District Council and Municipal Committee Malik Khurram Iftikhar, MD WASA Shoaib Zia Hashmi, Deputy Director Local Government Habib Ullah Khan, Civil Defense Officer Shahid Pervaiz, and other officers from relevant departments.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of Zubaira Crossing, road patchwork, restoration of roads and streetlights, development of green belts, painting of curbstones, and cleanliness measures under the “Suthra Punjab Program.” The performance of price control magistrates was also evaluated.

Deputy Commissioner Asad Abbas Magassi directed that a comprehensive survey of all streets and neighborhoods be carried out to ensure that no open manholes or dangerous potholes exist anywhere. He instructed the XEN Highways to ensure road repair and maintenance, while directing the CEO Municipal Committee to oversee the development of green belts, restoration of non-functional streetlights, and beautification of curbstones along roads.

Furthermore, officials of the Suthra Punjab Program were directed to improve cleanliness in all streets and graveyards. The Paraforce officials were instructed to carry out indiscriminate operations against encroachments, while Special Price Control Magistrates were directed to regularly monitor the prices of essential commodities, LPG, and petroleum products.

The Deputy Commissioner strictly directed all concerned officers to perform their duties efficiently and responsibly so that the public can benefit from the government’s initiatives.
