Commissioner Sargodha Division, Hafiz Shaukat Ali, visited the Citrus Research Institute Sargodha to review the citrus revival program. On the occasion, the Director of the institute briefed him on efforts to increase production, control diseases, and develop modern citrus varieties.
While expressing his views, the Commissioner appreciated the steps being taken to provide farmers with modern technology and to rehabilitate orchards. He directed the authorities to make the program more effective so that citrus production in Sargodha can be further increased.
He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to agricultural development and the prosperity of farmers.
